The Element lids on our Spectrum Series are coated with CuVerro, a solid copper-based solution that is proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria in two hours or less and continues to work after repeated contamination.  **Standard hydrogen peroxide, plain water, or steaming should only be used to remove grime from lids.  Avoid using cleaning products and bleach.
